This Privacy Policy describes how Collyou ("we", "our", or "us"), a mobile application owned and operated by Aarvi International Impex, collects, uses, and protects information from users of the Collyou mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
This policy complies with the Google Play Developer Program Policy, the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India), and applicable data protection principles.

Collyou is a college admission information app intended for students aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used the App and provided personal data, please contact us immediately at support@collyou.com and we will delete it promptly.

Collyou delivers college admission news and notifications to users. As a news/information app, we comply with Google Play's News App Policy. All admission content displayed in the App is sourced from publicly available official college and exam authority websites. We do not fabricate, alter, or misrepresent any admission information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users via an in-app notification. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

You have full control over your data. Follow the options below and we will delete all personal data associated with your device within 30 days.
Google Play requires all apps that collect personal data to provide a way for users to request deletion of their data. This page fulfils that requirement for the Collyou app.
You can request data deletion in any of the following ways — choose whichever is easiest for you.
Send an email to support@collyou.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include your device model and Android version if possible. We will confirm receipt within 48 hours and complete deletion within 30 days.
Open the Collyou app → tap the Menu icon (top right) → go to Settings → tap "Clear my data & preferences". This immediately clears your city/stream preferences stored locally on your device.
Uninstalling Collyou from your device immediately removes all locally stored preferences. Any analytics data held by Firebase will be deleted within 12 months per our retention policy, or sooner upon email request.
When you submit a deletion request, here is exactly what happens to your data:
We will acknowledge your deletion request within 48 hours and complete the deletion within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email at the address you provide.
Once your data is deleted, you will continue to be able to use the Collyou app. However, you will need to re-select your city and stream preferences, as these will have been cleared. You will also stop receiving admission notifications until you re-enable them in the app.
